Stratix and Southwest Airlines Recognized for Innovative Mobility Partnership

NORCROSS, GA  February 2, 2017 – After deploying 14,000 iPad mini-powered electronic flight bags to transform the in-flight experience, Southwest Airlines and Stratix have been recognized for their mobility collaboration in the 2017 Modern Mobility Innovation Awards. Presented by TechTarget’s Modern Mobility magazine, the program highlights enterprise mobility projects that are delivering exceptional value and impact for their organizations.

Southwest and Stratix “demonstrate how organizations that embrace mobility and take advantage of cutting-edge technology can transform their processes and achieve new levels of productivity,” wrote Colin Steele, editor-in-chief of Modern Mobility.

Southwest introduced the iPad minis to replace its 700-page paper flight manuals, creating more efficiency for flight attendants while presenting new opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Stratix partnered with Southwest to provide end-to-end managed mobility solutions, from procurement and deployment to ongoing support.
