In the fragmented US mobile market many enterprises are challenged with supporting the wide array of mobile technologies.  Choosing and managing everything from purpose built devices to the latest smartphone and tablets has created a lot of complexity.  Not to mention the management of various combinations and ever changing OS platforms (e.g. iOS, Android and Microsoft), thus leaving many IT organizations without the in-house mobility expertise to effectively deliver on business demands.
