POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The MIC Team Lead of the Value Add is responsible for overseeing the daily production of staging The MIC Team Lead of the Value Add is responsible for overseeing the daily production of staging technicians within the Mobile Integration Center. Duties include working directly with the MIC VA Supervisor to identify productivity needs based on Stratix production schedule. Ensuring that resources are aligned to support projects adequately. Additionally, the team lead will monitor all staging activity to make sure that project timelines and deliverables are being met.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, assign and monitor incoming orders.
  • Manage all assigned projects to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Scheduling of individual technicians by work assignment.
  • Work with quality control lead to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Work with MIC Tech Support to ensure all escalations are handled in a timely manner.
  • Manage production issues through proprietary software systems.
  • Creating and updating progress reports and forecast reports on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with MIC Supervisor to maintain appropriate staffing levels that support Stratix’s active projects.
  • Ensure a balanced and efficient workload among production staff while exceeding budgetary expectations.
  • Test and certify first article devices for each project and work closely with MIC Tech Support / TST on continuous improvement efforts related to the first article process.
  • Lead by example using good work ethic, foster communication, provide training and availability to answer questions and assist with issues as they arise. (Leading by example does not mean competition to be highest producer).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a staging, production or systems support environment.
  • Minimum 1-year experience with leading or supervising people.
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) working knowledge with hardware, peripheral support and connectivity.
  • intermediate level proficiency in various office/administrative applications including MS Office suite, Pro-check and E-mail,
  • Oracle experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Must be able to motivate and lead people
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and deal with ambiguity.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and react to situations as they arise in the appropriate manner.
