We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative eager to play a critical role in this growth. The role will work with marketing and sales to research, prospect and qualify new logo opportunities.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for qualifying inbound marketing leads and setting appointments for sales, as well as prospecting to our target addressable market to identify new logo business opportunities. This position will leverage email, outbound calling, and tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn, to conduct exploratory conversations with prospects, identify pain points and successfully position Stratix’ value. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, be organized and an excellent communicator. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

This is the perfect position for someone looking to gain experience in the B2B technology sales and is a great steppingstone into a full-cycle enterprise sales career. 

The role will include the following:

  • Aggressive follow up on inbound marketing leads, using business acumen to establish prospect connections, identify fit and pain points, and ultimately to set up qualified meetings with sales.
    • Use probing questions to identify pain points. Must be able to identify points of value for continuing the conversation.
    • Conduct account research to identify appropriate messaging strategies for a prospect.
  • Outbound prospecting to identified account lists to find new logo opportunities.
    • Leverage ZoomInfo for list building and prospect research
    • Persistent outreach using Hubspot Enterprise Sales tools to track activity
    • Creativity in developing new strategies to get prospects attention and get past gate keepers
  • Ownership over the ‘Discovery Process’ including qualifying and identifying the opportunity, completing the Discovery Notice, creating the opportunity in Salesforce and aligning with the field sales rep on follow up.
    • Will have ownership over the beginning of the relationship with the customer, so must be professional, organized, and thorough.
  • Achieve targeted meeting goals and work in partnership with field sales to achieve corporate booking and revenue goals.

Position Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to create and articulate a customer value proposition, generating a reason to talk to Stratix.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Sales is beneficial.
  • Preferred two to three years of demonstrated, successful business development experience in a B2B environment.
  • Track record of high achievement combined with a strong desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • The ability to handle multiple interactions, targeting 70 touchpoints/day while handling objections, rejection and wins on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in technology services, especially managed services, a plus.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, Hubspot Enterprise Sales, ZoomInfo and Salesforce a plus.
