Position Summary

The Human Resource Coordinator will help run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) team including onboarding, maintaining documentation, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Human Resource Coordinator will also help support the administrative staff.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Partner with temporary agencies to ensure adequate staffing is provided for all positions as well as manage onboarding of new staff
  • Conduct new hire onboarding program; including but not limited to, pre-employment background checks, new hire documentation, new hire orientation and internal training schedules
  • Help conduct employee recognition and appreciation programs.
  • Help create and maintain internal employee postings
  • Handle catering for internal events
  • Assistance with scheduling interviews
  • Assistance with setup for internal and customer visits
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Maintain internal reporting documents
  • Maintain confidential employee records
  • Provide backup to the receptionist and executive assistant teammates
