Bonney Stamper Shuman - Chief Executive Officer
In 1983, Bonney Shuman co-founded Stratix Corporation with David Knowlton. Ms. Shuman is widely recognized as a leading industry expert and as such, conducts numerous seminars each year on bar coding and automatic data capture technologies. Bonney is also the lead author of the publication "A Guide to Bar Coding", which has served as a top reference manual for retailers, manufacturers and distributors for the past 15 years. Ms. Shuman is a past President of AIM, USA and a past board member of Georgia Women’s Business Council, Women in Packaging and UGA National Alumni Association. Ms. Shuman currently serves on the boards of AIDC 100 and the Frederica Academy.
Gina Gallo - President
Gina Gallo joined Stratix in September 2004 as Vice President of Sales and was promoted to President in April 2007. Under Ms. Gallo’s leadership Stratix achieved a 300% growth rate which led the company’s debut on the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies for 2006 and most recently the Inc. 5000 in 2007. Ms. Gallo is responsible for the company’s strategic planning and execution for all operating business units. Gina is a 13 year veteran of Motorola (formerly Symbol Technologies) where she managed the $350 million dollar operation as Vice President Sales for the Eastern Division. Prior positions include GRiD Systems and Xerox Corporation. Gina received a B.A. Degree in Marketing from Bryant University of Rhode Island and currently serves on the Board of TAG (Technology Association of Georgia).
Bob Buhay - Chief Financial Officer
Bob Buhay has served as Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in October 2006. Mr. Buhay most recently served as CFO at NextiraOne, a Houston-based telecommunications hardware and services provider. Previously, Bob was the CFO of Lanier Healthcare in Atlanta during its spin-off from Lanier Worldwide to Platinum Equity Holdings. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Buhay has also been the CFO and COO of ExecuTrain Enterprises and served for 8 years in various management positions with the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche.
R. Douglas Macgill - Chief Operating Officer
Douglas Macgill has served as Chief Operating Officer for Stratix since joining the company in July 2004. and is responsible for Stratix’s day-to-day-operations, including customer support, repair services and printing operations. Mr. Macgill has over 20 years of senior operations and financial experience including COO and CFO with Axiom Corporation. In addition Douglas served as Board member of Mincom USA and held financial positions with Southern Company. Mr. Macgill is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Auburn University.
Dan Homrich - Chief Technology Officer
Dan Homrich oversees the development and execution of our corporate technology strategy. Mr. Homrich is also responsible for customer facing technology solutions and internal IT management. His career includes over 20 years of key leadership positions with Fortune 500, start-up, public and private companies, many of which he has lead through periods of significant change and rapid growth. Prior to joining Stratix, Dan served as a Principal with Anser Services and was also Vice President of Implementation and Professional Services for a division of Royal Dutch Philips. Mr. Homrich also held senior technical management roles with Lanier Healthcare, Utility Partners and American Software.
Peter Dalpe - Vice President of Sales
Peter Dalpe joined the company as General Manager of Sales in February 2005 and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in April 2007. Mr. Dalpe is responsible for all sales divisions including Commercial, Government, Verification and Labels. Mr. Dalpe has over 25 years experience successfully selling technology solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. Peter has led sales teams at a number of major technology organizations including, Motorola, (formerly Symbol Technologies), Telxon and PSC. Mr. Dalpe has earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Barry Smith - Vice President, Professional Services
Barry Smith possesses more than 25 years of management experience in systems engineering, product delivery and customer service. Prior to joining Stratix, Mr. Smith was Director of Engineering for the Eastern Region of Motorola, Inc. (formerly Symbol Technologies), where he was responsible for product delivery across all the verticals markets. He also served as Eastern Area VP of Engineering for Telxon Corporation, a scanner manufacturer, which was acquired by Symbol in 2000. In addition, Barry worked as a Director for Memorex Telex and as a systems engineer at Raytheon and Litton Industries. A combat veteran, Mr. Smith served in the Marine Corps for four years during Vietnam.
Paul Shiman - Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Alliances
Paul Shiman joined the company in April 2005 and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Alliances in January 2008. Mr. Shiman has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience leading companies in mobile and wireless technology, enterprise applications and most recently serving as Vice President for SiriusDecisions, an Executive Advisory Services company providing senior-level executives with the sales and marketing operational intelligence. Paul has led sales and marketing teams at a number of major technology organizations including Netkey, Motorola, (formerly Symbol Technologies), and GRiD Systems. Mr. Shiman received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the London Metropolitan University and currently serves on the board of Sales and Marketing International Atlanta.

In memory of former Founder and Chairman David Knowlton who passed away on August 20th. “ Dave was an extraordinary business partner and friend and will be sorely missed. He brought ideas and new directions for the company and was a friend who you always wanted by your side. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate Dave’s many successes.”
